The Argentine Tango Festival's goals are to celebrate both the authenticity and diversity of Argentine Tango. Established by the staff, faculty and students of El Mundo del Tango, we invite you to experience the warm and friendly atmosphere and Argentine Tango at it's finest! This event will be held on April 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2009.

Our 3rd annual San Diego Argentine Tango Festival will feature a totally new venue this year, the new home of El Mundo del Tango in Pacific Beach. Check our venue page for more information.

The 2007 and 2008 festivals were stunning successes. You can view pictures of our past festivals here. In Spring, 2009, we invite you to return to San Diego, home of a diverse and growing tango community, to learn new and creative dance vocabulary and to expand your knowledge and power of this passionate dance.

Returning for a second year are the totally talented and aweseome lineup of Colette and Richard, Marizabel and Todd and Christy and Darren along with our own Maestro, Ive. This festival is guaranteed to be be instructional, inspirational and fun!
